75.3% of Saudi Population Attended Cultural Events in 2025
The figure was published as part of GASTAT's monthly 'Raqam Saudi' initiative.
Around 75.3% of Saudi Arabia's population attended venues hosting cultural events or activities in 2025, according to the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
The figure was published through the authority's 'Raqam Saudi' initiative, which shares monthly official indicators across its social media platforms in an effort to present national statistics in a more accessible format.
According to GASTAT, the initiative is designed to highlight official data tracking social, economic and developmental trends, while supporting progress monitoring under Saudi Vision 2030 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The authority said 'Raqam Saudi' is intended to serve government entities, media organisations, researchers, opinion writers, social media users and international audiences by encouraging wider use of verified statistical data in reporting and analysis.
GASTAT added that the initiative aims to strengthen public awareness of the role official statistics play in measuring national development and documenting progress across sectors through regularly published indicators.
