Abdalla Almulla's 'Chronoforms' Unveiled at Jaeger-LeCoultre Dubai
Emirati artist and architect Abdalla Almulla's special art piece debuts at Jaeger-LeCoultre's flagship boutique at Dubai Mall.
Swiss luxury watch and clock manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre has revealed an exclusive collaboration with Emirati artist and architect Abdalla Almulla at its newly redesigned flagship boutique in Dubai Mall. The art piece, titled ‘Chronoforms’, is displayed in one of the VIP lounges, and explores the fluidity and elegance of time through intricate geometric patterns.
Almulla’s art piece uses organic forms of pinecones from the Vallée de Joux with the date palms of the Dubai desert.
“The installation reflects the brand’s timeless elegance, seamlessly integrating its heritage with the natural beauty of the Vallée de Joux, while also adding an artistic dimension to the space,” Almulla said.
The work pays homage to the Art Deco movement, a style that shares a connection with Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Reverso watch. Its colour gradient, from warm wood tones to lush green, creates a rhythmic visual illusion that draws the viewer's eye and builds a connection between time and nature.
Founded in 1833, Jaeger-LeCoultre is renowned for its expertise in watchmaking, having created over 1,400 calibers and holding more than 430 patents.
