Adel Emam's Birthday Celebrated With Re-release of 'Alzheimer's'
The 2010 comedy will get a cinematic re-release in theatres across Egypt and the Arab world starting May 17th.
In celebration of actor Adel Imam’s 84th birthday on May 17th, theatres across Egypt and the Arab world will experience a cinematic re-release of his 2010 comedy, ‘Alzheimer’s’. The movie was Adel Emam’s last leading role in a feature film, before focusing mainly on TV series like ‘Ostaz wa Rayees Kes’ (2015), ‘Awalem Khafyah’ (2018) and ‘Valentino’ (2020).
Featuring a stellar cast including the late Saeed Saleh, Esad Younis, Nelly Karim, Rania Youssef, Fathy Abdel Wahab and Ahmed Rizk, ‘Alzheimer’s’ follows a wealthy man played by Adel Imam who is diagnosed with Alzhemier’s disease, and is then taken advantage of by his children.
According to producer and actress Esad Younis, a special celebration will also be held amongst the film's cast, as well as several movie stars from across Egypt’s movie industry.
