Ahmed Dawood & Menna Shalaby Co-Star in New Film 'Qa'at Al-Orchid'

Egyptian movie stars Menna Shalaby and Ahmed Dawood are teaming up in a new film titled ‘Qa'at Al-Orchid’, which will be directed and written by Heba Youssry and produced by Sea Cinema. The film marks Shalaby and Dawood’s second cinematic collaboration after ‘Brooks, Meadows and Lovely Faces’ in 2016.

This announcement follows the box office success of Dawood's recent film, ‘Youm 13’, which grossed nearly EGP 35 million during its run. Qa'at Al-Orchid’s writer and director, Youssry, is known for her co-direction of the hit drama series ‘Sabe’a Gar’ (2017), where she co-wrote the series alongside acclaimed directors Ayten Amin and Nadine Khan.

Details about Qa'at Al-Orchid’s cast and release date have yet to be revealed.
