Bojack Horesman's Supervisor Director Will Speak at Aniamtex in AUC

Mike Hollingsworth, the supervising director/co-executive producer of Bojack Horseman and first-ever animator to be hired by Netflix, will speak on a panel at the 6th edition of Animatex, the biggest event for animation in Cairo.

Hollingsworth has an impressive portfolio, from Bojack Horseman to the snarky Tuca & Bertie to Netflix special Inside Job and Cat Burglar. He will participate in Animatex's biggest edition yet, a celebration of 90 years of animation in Egypt, from February 11th to 15th.

Hollingsworth became the first animator hired by Netflix when he signed on to direct the pilot of ‘Bojack Horseman’ in 2012. He later went on to serve as Supervising Director and Co-Executive Producer across all six seasons of ‘BoJack Horseman’ as well as the first season of ‘Tuca & Bertie’.

The event will also host other major names from the global animation scene, including Sara Matta, one of the animators behind award-winning series ‘Arcane’.
