Cairo Metro Line 3 to Host Cultural Events Across Stations in April
A month-long programme of performances and exhibitions will take place across Metro Line 3 stations.
A series of cultural and artistic events will take place across Cairo Metro Line 3 stations throughout April 2026, as part of a month-long programme aimed at bringing arts into public spaces.
The initiative is organised by RATP Dev Transport Cairo in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, under directives from the Ministry of Transport and the supervision of the National Authority for Tunnels.
The programme will begin at Imbaba station on April 1st with a semsemeya performance, followed by a puppetry show at Abbasiya station on April 8th.
On April 15th, Cairo University station will host folk heritage songs, while a performance dedicated to people with disabilities is scheduled at Nasser station on April 22nd.
The programme will conclude with a mixed artistic performance at Heliopolis station on April 29th.
In parallel, Safaa Hegazy station will host a visual art exhibition starting April 20th, running for two weeks.
- The programme includes a mix of folk music, children’s performances and inclusive activities, distributed across key stations to reach commuters throughout the network.
