Cairo's Arts & Culture Calendar for an 'Alt Ramadan' in 2026

After iftar, Cairo shifts into its nocturnal rhythm. Studios reopen, courtyards fill with music, and workshops start just as the city slows elsewhere. Ramadan may change the schedule, but it does not pause the cultural calendar. If you’re looking to do more than the usual rounds this month, there are plenty of alternatives across the city — from craft workshops and filmmaker talks to courtyard concerts, walking tours and community tournaments. Whether you prefer something hands-on, reflective or social, the post-iftar hours offer space to try something different and see Cairo from another angle.
