Dina El-Sherbiny Joins Cast of Amr Saad’s Blockbuster ‘The Crows’
With a budget of around EGP 300 million, ‘The Crows’ is a period piece about the battle of El Alamein in World War II.
Actors Dina El-Sherbiny and Amr Saad are about to join forces for the first time with the upcoming movie, ‘The Crows’. Directed by Yassin Hassan and produced by Said Orieibi, ‘The Crows’ is a period piece about the battle of El Alamein during World War II.
With a budget of around EGP 300 million - comparable to the 2022 blockbuster ‘Kira W El Gin’ - ‘The Crows’ might just be one of the most high-production films to come out of the MENA region. Most of the movie is being filmed in Fayoum, where the production company built a replica of the city of El Alamein as it would have appeared in the 1940s.
The cast of ‘The Crow’ will feature Muhammad Alaa, Asmaa Abu Al-Yazid, Majed Al-Masry, Jamil Barsoum, Abdulaziz Makhyoun, Safaa Al-Toukhi, Mahmoud Al-Bazawi, and Ahmed Badir in supporting roles.
‘The Crows’ will have its grand premiere in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, before being screened across the MENA region.
