Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Launches Ticket Sales Ahead of December Opening
General admission costs AED 70, with free entry for visitors under 18, UAE students and seniors aged 60 and above.
Tickets are now on sale for Guggenheim Abu Dhabi ahead of the museum’s opening on December 11th.
General admission is priced at AED 70, while visitors under 18, UAE students and seniors aged 60 and above can enter free of charge. Reduced rates are also available for other eligible groups.
A collaboration between the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, the new museum sits within Saadiyat Cultural District and was designed by the late architect Frank Gehry. Inside, visitors will find 28 galleries connected by a central atrium, alongside 10 sculptural cones and extensive outdoor exhibition spaces.
The museum’s collection will focus on modern and contemporary art from the 1960s onwards, spanning painting, sculpture, installation, photography, moving image and new media. Its exhibitions and commissions will place artists from different regions and traditions in dialogue rather than following a strictly chronological or geographical format.
Tickets are available through Guggenheim Abu Dhabi’s official website.
