History of Egyptian Food Exhibition Will Be Showcased at NMEC
As part of the ‘Tabliet Misr’ initiative, the exhibition showcases the multi era-spanning heritage of Egypt’s cuisine.
A new exhibition celebrating thousands of years of Egyptian food opens February 15th at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, chronicling legendary Egyptian heritage dishes and showcasing artefacts from across the ages of Egyptian civilization.
The new exhibition, which will run for two weeks as part of the ‘Tabliet Misr’ initiative, aims to raise awareness about lesser known corners of the country’s culinary history, preserving and documenting narratives and histories that include Egypt’s best-known dishes, and those sidelined by the passage of time.
