Irthi Presents Heritage-Inspired Collections at ADIHEX 2026

Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council is showcasing two new collections at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026, bringing traditional Emirati craftsmanship into contemporary leather goods and fine jewellery.

Marking its second consecutive participation in the exhibition, which runs until September 6th at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, Irthi is presenting the Al Thaya Collection: Shaheen Edition alongside a limited-edition jewellery collection created in collaboration with Emirati jeweller Adi Al Fardan.

Inspired by falconry, the Al Thaya Collection combines traditional Al Safeefah weaving techniques with premium natural leather. The collection includes falconry gloves, iPad cases, leather chains and cords, with details drawing on falcon feathers, the form of the falcon hood and traditional weaving patterns.

The second collection translates the geometric aesthetic of Al Safeefah into fine jewellery in celebration of Emirati Women’s Day. Created jointly by Irthi and Al Fardan, the pieces are crafted in 18-karat white, yellow and rose gold and feature rubies, black diamonds, emeralds and white diamonds inspired by the colours of the UAE flag. The collection will be available as a limited-edition line for one month.

Irthi is also hosting live craft workshops at its pavilion, including sessions focused on Al Safeefah bookmarks and Talli keychains. The workshops give visitors an opportunity to observe traditional techniques and learn about the manual skills involved in producing Emirati crafts.
