Jeddah Book Fair 2024 to Take Place at Jeddah Superdome

The Jeddah Book Fair 2024 will take place from December 12th to the 21st, hosting new reads, author signings, and a cultural program for book lovers. The event is free and open to the public, with no tickets or advance reservations required, in the Jeddah Superdome at King Abdulaziz International Airport.

Organised by the General Authority for Literature, Publishing and Translation in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the Jeddah Book Fair will showcase a range of books from local and international authors. The event is a chance to explore ideas and creativity through literature while wandering through corridors filled with the fresh scent of new books and shelves brimming with stories from across the globe.

The fair also brings together publishing houses, authors, artists and a variety of events. As part of its cultural program, the event will feature numerous dialogue platforms, interactive lectures, and workshops that span the worlds of art, writing, publishing, bookmaking and translation. This year, attendees will also have the opportunity to attend book signing sessions with prominent authors and participate in panel discussions on literary and cultural topics.

This year’s edition of the fair introduces even more activities and events for all ages. A cultural theatre will host daily performances combining literature, art and music. For those interested in the writing and publishing process, educational workshops focusing on these topics will also be available.
