‘King of the Ring’ Starring Salma Abu Deif Hits Theatres This June
The Saudi film features a cast of Egyptian actors, including Mohamed Lotfy and Shadi Al Fons.
Saudi film ‘King of the Ring’ is set to hit theatres in Saudi Arabia and the Arab region this June. The movie features a diverse cast including Egyptian actors Salma Abu Deif, Mohamed Lotfy and Shadi Al Fons, as well as Saudi actors Yasin Ghazzawi, Hakeem Jomah and Faisal Al Kurdi.
The film premiered at the Red Sea International Festival as part of the ‘New Saudi Cinema’ section in 2022 and follows the story of Musaab, an aspiring wrestler played by Yasin Ghazzawi. Musaab clings to a new opportunity presented by a former Egyptian wrestler and coach, played by Mohamed Lotfy, who decides to take a chance on him.
‘King of the Ring’ is directed by Mohammed Saeed Harib and produced by MBC.
