New TV Series 'Enfesal' Tackles Date Rape Drugs

Actress Eman El Assi is preparing to star in the upcoming television series 'Enfesal', a 12-episode crime thriller that addresses cases involving date rape drugs.

Known for her recent leading roles in ‘Berghem El Qanoun’ and ‘Qesmet El Adl’, El Assi will headline the project, which reportedly marks one of the first Egyptian television dramas to directly focus on date rape drugs and related sexual assault cases.

‘Enfesal’, currently a working title, is written by Naglaa El Hedeny and directed by Hossam Hamed. The project marks El Assi’s second collaboration with El Hedeny following their work together on ‘Berghem El Qanoun’.
