Red Sea International Film Festival Unveils 2024 All-Star Lineup
The Red Sea International Film Festival will feature A-list stars like Spike Lee, Eva Longoria, Michael Mann, and Kareena Kapoor Khan from December 5th to the 14th.
The Red Sea International Film Festival has announced its lineup of speakers for its fourth edition, taking place in Jeddah from December 5th to the 14th at the new venue in Al Balad. The festival's dialogue sessions will give film enthusiasts, industry professionals and fans the chance to engage with some of the most influential figures in global cinema.
“We are proud to present an exceptional line-up of world-class speakers at our ‘Talent Market’ panel discussions,” Jumana Rashed Al-Rashed, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Red Sea Film Foundation, tells SceneNowSaudi. “These stars, whose careers have distinguished themselves on both sides of the camera, have inspired generations of audiences.”
This year’s speakers include award-winning Egyptian actress Mona Zaki (‘Flight 404’, ‘Absher: The Swarm’) and Oscar-winning American actress and JVL Media co-founder Viola Davis (‘The King’s Woman’, ‘Fences’).
Also participating are legendary director Michael Mann, (‘Ferrari’, ‘Heat’), and Egyptian writer-director Mohamed Sami (‘Arrest Warrant’). Turkish stars Engin Altan Duzyatan (‘Resurrection: Ertugrul’) and Nurgul Yesilcay (‘Magnificent Century: Sultan Kosem’) will join the lineup, along with Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor (‘Animal’) and Kareena Kapoor Khan (‘The Buckingham Palace Murders’).
Additionally, award-winning actress Eva Longoria, celebrated for her roles in ‘Desperate Housewives’ and ‘Only Murders in the Building’, will take part in the sessions along with Andrew Garfield (‘The Social Network’). Spike Lee, the legendary filmmaker who most recently directed ‘BlacKkKlansman’ and ‘Da 5 Bloods’, will lead a special panel discussion at the Talent Marketplace, designed to mentor emerging filmmakers.
