Registration Opens for Traditional Embroidery Apprenticeship in Riyadh

Wrth has opened registration for its Traditional Embroidery Apprenticeship Programme in Riyadh, with applications available through its website until November 1st. Personal interviews and practical admission tests will take place from November 8th to 19th.

The 18-month, in-person programme will begin on January 3rd, 2027, at Wrth’s headquarters in Al Futah and will be delivered across three training levels. Participants will receive hands-on instruction from artisans and specialists in embroidery history, materials, traditional stitches, sewing techniques and hand-embroidery methods.

The curriculum also covers product development, productivity analysis, time management and planning for craft-based businesses. Participants will be introduced to feasibility studies, pricing and marketing, with the programme designed to prepare them for employment in the field or for launching their own projects.

Wrth has operated since 2021 with a focus on training national talent in traditional arts and supporting the preservation and development of Saudi craft practices.
