Saudi Cultural Nonprofits Can Now Apply for New Support Programme
The programme includes six support tracks focused on governance, sustainability, and institutional development across Saudi Arabia.
Applications have opened for the Ministry of Culture’s new Support for Performance Program, an initiative designed to strengthen nonprofit cultural organisations and expand cultural activity across Saudi Arabia.
According to the ministry, the programme includes six support tracks focused on improving institutional efficiency, operational capabilities, and financial sustainability within the nonprofit cultural sector.
The initiative provides financial support for projects and programmes with measurable cultural impact, alongside consultancy services and specialised training covering governance, institutional development, and operational management.
One support track is dedicated to newly established nonprofit cultural organisations, offering assistance intended to accelerate institutional growth and operational readiness.
Another track targets organisations affected by exceptional financial or administrative challenges, including those linked to natural disasters, provided they have demonstrated established impact or strong sector performance.
The programme also introduces an institutional excellence award aimed at recognising organisations with strong governance and management standards as part of broader efforts to encourage operational development across the cultural sector.
Officials said the initiative is intended to increase the contribution of nonprofit organisations across priority cultural industries while expanding cultural activity throughout different regions of the Kingdom.
The ministry added that funding allocations will be tied to measurable performance indicators and long-term cultural impact.
Applications will remain open until June 22nd through the ministry’s official platform, where organisations can review eligibility requirements, funding categories, and submission procedures.
