Saudi Theatre Programme Sends Creatives to Spain & Greece
The international training initiative places Saudi theatre professionals in institutions across Madrid and Athens.
Saudi Arabia's Theater and Performing Arts Commission has launched the fourth edition of its Work and Learn – International Track programme, sending Saudi theatre professionals to Madrid, Spain, and Athens, Greece for hands-on training with established theatre institutions.
Running from August 2nd to November 8th, 2026, the programme combines professional placements with practical learning, allowing participants to work alongside international theatre professionals in real production environments.
The training covers a range of disciplines, including theatre directing, lighting design, sound design, set design, scenography, stage management, and modern theatrical production technologies. Participants will gain experience through day-to-day involvement in production workflows and creative processes under a learning-by-doing approach.
