Applications Open for 386 Industrial Units Across Egypt
Egypt’s Ministry of Industry and Transport opens applications for fully equipped industrial units, targeting small and micro enterprises nationwide.

Egypt's Ministry of Industry and Transport has opened applications for 386 fully equipped industrial units across 12 industrial complexes in 11 governorates, with submissions accepted from October 6th to the 20th, 2025. The units, ranging in size from 48 to 792 square metres, cover a wide range of industries including engineering, chemicals, food, textiles, furniture, ready-made garments, metals, plastics, and pharmaceuticals. The offer targets small and micro enterprises and provides several incentives, including low-interest financing with a 5% reduction, up to 100% financing for ownership units, rent deferrals of up to nine months, waived application fees, and a reduced bid document price of EGP 500. Entrepreneurs can also benefit from Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency programmes that offer machinery and production-line financing as well as technical and marketing support. Units are distributed nationwide, including seven at Biyad Al-Arab in Beni Suef, 23 at West Gerja in Sohag, five at Hurghada in the Red Sea, and 85 at How in Qena. Additional sites include Assiut, Minya, Fayoum, Luxor, Alexandria, and Aswan, where both ownership and rental options are available. The Aswan complex includes 149 units, the largest number under the initiative. The Industrial Development Authority will review applications after the deadline and select recipients based on eligibility criteria, with priority given to existing projects seeking expansion within the same complex and to immediate payments.
