Bahraini Firm Mubasher Capital to Launch US Dollar Fixed Income Fund
The fund will invest in US dollar-denominated Egyptian treasury bills starting March 8th, 2026.
Investment services provider Mubasher Capital is preparing to launch a US dollar-denominated fixed income fund after receiving approval from Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority, with trading scheduled to begin on March 8th, 2026.
The company said it is targeting up to $101 million in inflows across its existing and upcoming funds by the end of the year.
According to Vice Chairman Ehab Rashad, the inflow target spans three operating funds covering cash, equities and gold, alongside two new investment vehicles currently under development.
One of those products, the Dollar Mubasher fund, will invest in Egyptian treasury bills denominated in US dollars and is expected to begin trading on March 8th, 2026.
Mubasher Capital is also awaiting approval from the Financial Regulatory Authority for a separate Silver Mubasher fund after completing the required documentation.
