Blackstone to Open Kuwait Office in Third Quarter of 2026

Blackstone is set to open an office in Kuwait during the third quarter of 2026, expanding its footprint across the Gulf as it continues to grow its regional presence. The US alternative asset manager will establish the office through the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA).

The planned opening forms part of Blackstone's broader expansion strategy across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), as global investment firms continue to strengthen their presence in the region amid growing capital markets activity and investment opportunities.

In addition to its Kuwait plans, Blackstone is also considering opening a second office in the United Arab Emirates at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

Blackstone is one of the world's largest alternative asset managers, with investments spanning private equity, real estate, infrastructure, credit and insurance. The planned Kuwait office would further expand the firm's presence in the Gulf alongside its existing regional operations.
