Blockmaze Sets Guinness World Record for Regulatory Licences
The blockchain infrastructure platform was recognised for holding the most financial regulatory licences at launch.
Blockmaze, a tokenised asset infrastructure platform owned by the Finvasia Group, has been awarded a Guinness World Records title for holding the most financial regulatory licences at a blockchain ecosystem launch.
The record was recognised during a ceremony in Dubai, where Guinness World Records confirmed that Blockmaze had secured 11 financial regulatory licences across its ecosystem entities at the time of launch. The certificate was accepted by Tajinder Virk, Co-Founder and CEO of Finvasia Group and Blockmaze, alongside Sarvjeet Virk, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Finvasia Group, and Puneet Mangla, Co-Founder and COO of Blockmaze. The event was attended by Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade.
According to Guinness World Records, the title recognises the largest number of qualifying regulator-issued financial licences held by a blockchain ecosystem at launch. The organisation said its assessment found Blockmaze's total to be the highest recorded under the category.
“This recognition reflects a milestone that has never before been achieved at a global scale," Mr. Tajinder Virk, Co-Founder and CEO, Blockmaze said. "Through Blockmaze, we have unified more than 40 regulatory authorisations and registrations across our ecosystem, creating the trusted regulatory and financial infrastructure that seamlessly connects the regulatory foundations of Web2 finance with the innovation and efficiency of Web3."
Blockmaze develops infrastructure for tokenised real-world assets, aiming to connect blockchain technology with regulated financial systems. The company said its ecosystem brings together regulatory approvals, payment infrastructure and compliance frameworks to support the issuance and transfer of tokenised assets across jurisdictions.
