The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has announced a new initiative to accelerate the growth of the emirate’s digital sector with the launch of the‘Dubai Startup Guide.’ The resource is intended to serve as a roadmap for entrepreneurs seeking to establish and expand their digital enterprises by providing a detailed overview of Dubai’s business ecosystem.
The guide offers founders a complete look at setting up companies, covering essential requirements like legal considerations, various business setup options and crucial funding opportunities. In addition, it includes a curated list of key entities dedicated to empowering startups, along with practical information on Dubai’s accelerators, business incubators, sandboxes and specialised free zones.
Crucially, the 'Dubai Startup Guide' sets out clear procedures and strategic options for establishing businesses across 12 key sectors of the digital economy. This deep dive provides entrepreneurs with an understanding of the opportunities and regulatory frameworks within fields such as 3D Printing, Agritech, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Digital Assets, Edtech, Fintech, Gaming, Healthtech, Metaverse/Web3, Proptech and SaaS/Software.
The launch of the guide is strategically aligned with the recent opening of the Dubai Founders HQ, a new addition to the emirate’s startup and SME ecosystem.
