Echelon & Applied Intuition Partner on Physical AI in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh-based technology company Echelon has partnered with Silicon Valley physical AI firm Applied Intuition to expand deployment of autonomous systems across Saudi Arabia.

The partnership will target industries including robotaxis, ports, mining, manufacturing, agriculture, construction and trucking, with Echelon working alongside Applied Intuition on local business development, deployment and integration.

Applied Intuition develops software and digital infrastructure used to make vehicles and other moving machines more autonomous, including cars, robotaxis, trucks and industrial equipment. Its platform will form the technical basis of the partnership in Saudi Arabia.

Echelon, which works with international technology companies entering the Kingdom, will provide local development, customisation and ecosystem integration while embedding engineers with partners and customers. The company also plans to invest in Saudi engineering talent.

Applied Intuition has meanwhile established a regional office in Riyadh and is hiring locally as part of its expansion in the Kingdom.

The two companies also plan to work towards positioning Saudi Arabia as a research hub for autonomous driving in logistics, with a focus on deploying physical AI across large-scale transport and infrastructure networks.
