Edafa Venture Acquires Egyptian AI Startups Kuadra & IRRI Vision

Edafa Venture, a venture capital firm focused on technology investments, has acquired two Egyptian artificial intelligence startups, Kuadra and IRRI Vision, as it seeks to expand its presence across multiple AI sectors.

The acquisitions were announced during AI Everything Middle East & Africa, held in Cairo. According to the firm, the deals are part of a broader strategy to build a platform that supports promising startups in scaling across regional markets.

IRRI Vision, meanwhile, operates in the healthcare sector, developing AI-based diagnostic tools aimed at helping physicians and healthcare providers improve speed, accuracy and patient outcomes.
