Egypt KSA Partnership Launch EGP 2B Entertainment Investment Platform

A cross-border push into family entertainment is taking shape in Egypt, as PMaestro and Saudi Arabia’s Safari Group, the exclusive regional franchise rights holder of Chuck E. Cheese, launch an integrated investment and operational platform.

The partners plan an estimated investment of around LE 2 billion and will establish a joint entity, CEC Egypt Holding, to manage the franchise and execute expansion within a modern corporate framework focused on governance, transparency, and efficient resource allocation. The platform targets Egypt’s growing consumer demand across a wide base, reinforced by demographic shifts and increased purchasing power, and is positioned to support foreign direct investment inflows and entrepreneurship.

The platform is structured to combine direct capital with special purpose vehicles, allowing participation from local and regional investors as well as investment funds. The approach is designed to diversify funding sources while supporting a broader ownership base.

According to the partners, the initiative targets rising consumer demand driven by demographic growth and increasing purchasing power, positioning the project to support foreign direct investment inflows and entrepreneurial activity.

The expansion plan includes building a nationwide network of locations over the coming years, with the project expected to create employment opportunities, support local supply chains and contribute to the growth of Egypt’s entertainment sector.
