Glamera to Acquire Bookr in Regional Beauty Tech Expansion
Saudi lifestyle tech platform Glamera has signed an agreement to acquire Kuwait-based salon booking platform Bookr.
Saudi lifestyle technology platform Glamera has signed an acquisition memorandum to acquire Bookr, a Kuwait-based salon software and booking platform, as it accelerates expansion across the Middle East’s beauty and wellness market. The transaction value was not disclosed.
Bookr Group operates across Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia and runs a booking application serving more than 300,000 users. The acquisition is expected to immediately expand Glamera’s regional reach and consolidate its position in the sector.
Glamera said the combined platform will offer an integrated suite of services, including booking and scheduling, digital payments and point-of-sale solutions, salon and clinic operations management, AI-driven analytics, supply-chain integrations, and sector partnerships.
Founded in 2022 by Mohamed Hassan Hijazi and Omar Fathy, Glamera has processed transactions exceeding SAR 4 billion and currently serves more than 4,500 service providers across the region. Bookr was founded in 2018 and has built a user base of over 300,000 customers across its operating markets.
