Innovation City Launches AI-Powered Business Registration in RAK
The Ras Al Khaimah free zone has deployed Salesforce’s Agentforce to automate company registration workflows and cut set-up times.
Innovation City in Ras Al Khaimah has launched an AI-powered business registration platform using Salesforce’s Agentforce, with the system designed to reduce company formation times from days or weeks to minutes.
The platform uses AI agents to handle defined registration tasks and workflows across Innovation City’s digital ecosystem. More complex cases are escalated to human staff when they require judgement or additional review.
According to Innovation City and Salesforce, the system is built with governance, security and auditability controls and runs on Salesforce’s data and compliance infrastructure.
The rollout is intended to reduce back-and-forth during company set-up while keeping registration procedures within the free zone’s existing oversight framework.
Salesforce said the implementation reflects a broader regional shift from testing AI tools to deploying them in operational business processes.
The companies describe the platform as the first AI-powered registration service of its kind globally, although that claim is based on their own positioning rather than an independent industry benchmark.
