Lendo & Quantic Launch $200 Million Saudi SME Financing Programme
Lendo and Quantic will deploy up to $200 million in institutional capital to expand working capital financing for Saudi SMEs.
Saudi fintech Lendo has partnered with Austria-based Quantic Financial Solutions to launch an institutional financing programme of up to $200 million for small and medium-sized enterprises in Saudi Arabia.
Announced during Money20/20 Middle East in Riyadh, the programme will see Quantic deploy institutional capital through Lendo to expand working capital financing for SMEs across the Kingdom.
Founded in 2019 by Osama AlRaee and Mohammed Jawabri, Lendo operates a Shariah-compliant debt crowdfunding platform regulated by the Saudi Central Bank, connecting investors with businesses seeking financing.
Under the new partnership, Lendo plans to finance a larger number of businesses and introduce additional funding solutions, while Quantic will oversee the deployment of institutional capital in line with Lendo’s financing strategy.
“This partnership is a significant milestone for Lendo and a strong endorsement of our business model,” said AlRaee, co-founder and CEO of Lendo. “It gives us the scale and structuring discipline to serve significantly more SMEs as demand across the Kingdom continues to grow.”
Quantic, headquartered in Vienna and part of the C-Quadrat Investment Group, also plans to structure Shariah-compliant investment products backed by assets financed through Lendo and offer them to international investors seeking exposure to Saudi Arabia’s SME financing market.
The arrangement is intended to create a recurring channel for foreign institutional capital into Saudi SME financing rather than a one-off transaction.
