ROX Motor Lands in Abu Dhabi With Regional Headquarters Backed by ADIO
Announced at DRIFTx in Abu Dhabi, ROX Motor’s HQ will steer regional operations and R&D as the emirate courts global mobility firms.
The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has confirmed a partnership with luxury new energy vehicle (NEV) maker ROX Motor to open its regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi, marking a key step in ROX’s Middle East-GCC expansion.
The new facility will serve as the central hub for ROX’s regional operations—covering sales, after-sales services and the future localisation of supply chains—while leveraging Abu Dhabi’s push toward mobility innovation, advanced manufacturing and economic diversification.
The announcement was made during DRIFTx, Abu Dhabi’s flagship smart-mobility expo organised by ADIO’s Smart and Autonomous Vehicle Industries (SAVI) cluster.
In addition to operational activities, ROX Motor will expand its Abu Dhabi base into design, research and development and talent recruitment. Plans include incorporating Arabic large-language-model (LLM) functionality into its smart-cockpit system and advancing autonomous-driving features tailored for the region.
