Saudi Arabia’s NEOM Launches Seven Senses Accelerator Program

NEOM, an emerging futuristic city in Saudi Arabia, has launched a new accelerator program to support entrepreneurship in the NEOM and Tabuk regions. Launched by the city's Social Responsibility Department, the Seven Senses accelerator program targets SMEs, innovators and freelancers with the aim of enabling great change within the two regions.

The Seven Senses accelerator will receive applications until May 14th for entrepreneurs who wish to take part in their two-day boot camp. Starting May 28th, the boot camp will give 150 entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn a number of essential skills including how to pitch to investors and understanding the needs of the customers. Participants will then have the chance to present their proposals to a panel of industry experts so that they can earn their spot in the accelerator program itself.

The accelerator program will run virtually over 10 weeks from May to August, and will end with a trial day in Tabuk for the participants to present their products and projects. The program is open to entrepreneurs in all sectors particularly in fields such as clothing, jewellery, perfurmery and pottery, or food service, arts and culture or new media, as well as tourism, public service and contracting.
