Ownership at Careem is shifting. Uber has invested $100 million to acquire an additional 12.5% equity stake from e&, a UAE-headquartered telecom group. The sale reduces e&’s holding from 50.03% to 37.53%.
The change increases Uber’s position in Careem by 12.5% and leaves e& with 37.53% following the transaction.
