800 Palestinian Students Registered to Take Secondary Exams in Egypt
Around 200 Palestinian students who have been displaced to other countries have also registered to take their exams remotely.
800 Palestinian secondary school students who have been displaced from Gaza have registered to take their exams in Egypt, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Education, organised through a specialised team at the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo. Around 200 Palestinian students who have been displaced to other countries have also registered to take their exams remotely.
Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians - many of whom are still school age - have been internally displaced within Gaza during the ongoing assault by Israeli Occupation Forces. The death toll in Gaza has now reached 34,183, including more than 14,500 children, since the Israeli military onslaught began in October 2023, with thousands more remaining unaccounted for in the official records.
