AUC School of Continuing Education collaborates with the Grand Egyptian Museum to provide advanced educational opportunities for aspiring tour guides and photographers.
The American University in Cairo’s School of Continuing Education has launched a partnership with the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) to empower aspiring tour guides and photographers as part of an ongoing effort to promote engagement with Egypt’s rich heritage
The partnership has launched two new educational programmes: ‘A Professional Certificate for Tour Guides’, which provides in-depth knowledge of the nuances of Egypt’s history and cultures through hands-on, on-site learning at GEM, and a ‘Mobile Photography Workshop’, which enables photography enthusiasts to master techniques to capture the unparalleled architecture and design of the museum.
