Abu Dhabi Set to Launch the World’s Second Sphere After Las Vegas

Sphere Entertainment and Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism are joining forces to establish a groundbreaking venue in the UAE capital - a giant sphere emerging from the ground, much like the one that took Las Vegas by storm. 

With a commitment to advancing Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030, this partnership hones in on the city's ongoing efforts to be a global destination for culture and innovation. Sphere Entertainment plans to leverage its proprietary technology and content, creating a venue that draws both residents and international visitors year-round. 

The construction, funded by DCT Abu Dhabi, will utilize Sphere's designs and expertise. Following its launch, ongoing collaborations will ensure an array of creative offerings.
