Careem Food customers will now receive AED 1 for every minute a delivery is late, as Careem Food launches its popular ‘Dirham for Delays’ project in Abu Dhabi.
Originally launched in Dubai in 2023, ‘Dirham for Delays’ has become a tool which has ensured that only one in 20 orders have been delivered late by Careem Food during 2022 and 2023.
Careem Food was launched in Dubai in 2020 and has expanded across the region, and now operates across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. The campaign is designed to enhance precision in delivery time, as well as increasing customer trust in the service.
