Dubai Museum Expo 2020 to Open to the Public on May 18th

Expo City Dubai has announced the public opening of the Expo 2020 Dubai Museum on May 18th, coinciding with International Museum Day.

To mark the grand unveiling, Expo City is inviting all visitors on May 18th and the 19th to enjoy complimentary entry to the brand-new museum, along with access to the city's three ‘Stories of Nations’ exhibitions. Expo City is also offering a 50% discount on admission to all other attractions within its complex, including the Alif and Terra Pavilions, the Women's and Vision Pavilions, as well as its Garden in the Sky installment.

The Expo 2020 Dubai Museum aims to take viewers through the World Expo project, showcasing the best of collaboration and innovation from around the globe. Starting with a glimpse into the UAE's pioneering involvement in World Expos dating back to the 1970s, the museum chronicles the inception, bid process, masterplan design, and the journey leading up to the historic opening ceremony and the six-month extravaganza that followed.

Visitors can opt for guided tours, scheduled every 30 minutes, to delve deeper into the rich tapestry of Expo history. Additionally, the museum boasts a souvenir shop stocked with Expo 2020 memorabilia, providing visitors with the opportunity to collect stamps in their Expo 'passports'. For those seeking a more contemplative setting, the Expo 2020 library and rentable meeting spaces offer the ideal environment for exploration and reflection.

Starting May 20th, the Expo 2020 Museum will be included in Expo City's one-day Attractions Pass, priced at AED 120. Alternatively, visitors can opt for a combined ticket, granting access to both the Expo 2020 Museum and the three Stories of Nations exhibits, priced at AED 50 for ages 12 and above, AED 40 for children between ages 4 and 11, and free for ages 3 and under.
