Egypt's Wheat Imports Reach USD 2.3 Billion in H1 2024

Egypt’s wheat imports have surged in the first half of 2024, with the total volume of wheat imports reaching USD 2.3 billion, indicating an increase of USD 539.3 million since the same period in 2023.

The country has seen an overall increase in the import of raw materials, amounting to USD 5.6 billion in the first half of 2024, up from USD 5.2 billion in the same period last year.
