Egyptian Graffiti Artist Paints Mural at British Museum

Egyptian graffiti artist Ahmed Nofal, aka Nofal O, created a mural for the British Museum’s ‘Tutankhamun Reimagined’ exhibition to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the historic discovery of King Tut’s tomb. Combining his quirky graffiti art with ancient Egyptian motifs, Nofal O pays homage to his roots directly on the walls of the British Museum.

Referring to himself as a ‘young artist in an ancient city’, Cairene street art has always been intrinsic to the artist’s practice, with many of his murals decorating the buildings of Giza. Recently, Nofal O was also commissioned to create a mural for the Red Bull Half Court World Final 2022 at the foot of the Pyramids.
