MMA Heavyweight Francis Ngannou Awarded Premium Residency in KSA

Just before Cameroonian-French MMA heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou's explosive fight with British former world heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua in Riyadh, Ngannou was awarded with a Premium Residency in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Premium Residency allows foreign nationals to have the right to live, work and possess businesses and property without a sponsor.

Ngannou made his Saudi debut in October during the beginning of Riyadh Season, where he lost to WBC world champion Tyson Fury in a non-title fight, with Fury claiming a narrow points win after an intense bout. His match with Joshua ended when the boxer gained the advantage over Ngannou in the first round, before knocking Ngannou out and ending the match in the second round.
