The program aims to build sustainable national capabilities in the Kingdom’s growing space sector.
Saudi Arabia's Communications, Space and Technology Commission has launched the Madarik program, aiming to build national capabilities in the space sector by establishing a foundation of knowledge in ‘space science’ at a series of professional events.
Running from May 5th to August 15th, the program will invite recent graduates and professionals to collaborate with experienced business people and scientists, building a sustainable future for the sector within the Kingdom.
The program will feature in-person sessions in Riyadh and Jeddah, with online participation welcomed from participants across the country. Divided into three specialised tracks, the programme will cover space business development, space data and software, and space engineering, aiming to encourage a diverse range of participation across different sectors.
Applicants for the programme must be Saudi nationals with a bachelors degree and proficiency in English.
