Partners With Eve Air to Launch Electric Helicopters in Saudi
The deal comes as Flynas has joined initiatives such as the UN World Tourism Organization to conduct more sustainable business.
Saudi budget carrier Flynas has inked an MoU with Brazilian electric air mobility startup Eve Air to evaluate launching electric helicopter operations in the Kingdom.
The agreement will see both companies examine sustainable vertical take-off and landing aircraft viability across the Kingdom with aims of debuting the model in Riyadh and Jeddah by 2026. Tapping into emerging aviation technologies supports the airline's environmental goals aligned with Saudi Arabia's 2060 net-zero targets.
The agreement follows Flynas joining initiatives like the UN World Tourism Organization and Global Compact to integrate sustainability across business operations.
