Qatif Flower Festival Records More Than 300,000 Visitors
The fourth edition of the festival showcased over 800,000 flowers and trees.
The fourth edition of Qatif Governorate’s Flower Festival saw over 300,000 horticulture, nature and plant enthusiasts flock to Qatif Governorate’s waterfront area, setting a new record for the festival.
A team of over 135 volunteers helped make the festival bloom, executing an array of 145 different sections dedicated to a range of flower related activities and exhibitions. The 12 days of the festival included a lineup of 95 programmes and events, and saw the waterfront area blossom with a showcase of over 800,000 flowers and trees from the region.
As a green oasis, with rich agricultural soil, Qatif is a horticultural hub in the Kingdom. The annual flower festival celebrates the importance of the horticultural industry in the region and provides a unique opportunity for local sellers to showcase their plants and products.
