Samsung Releases First Batch of Made-in-Egypt Smartphones
Manufactured out of Samsung’s Beni Suef factory, locally-made ‘Galaxy A’ phones will soon appear in vendors across Egypt.
Soon you’ll be able to buy Samsung phones that say ‘Made in Egypt’ on the box! Global tech giant Samsung has unleashed the first batch of locally-made ‘Galaxy A’ smartphones to Egyptian markets.
These phones were manufactured at Samsung’s Beni Suef factory, which was the company’s first plant in the Middle East. Having launched in 2013, the Beni Suef factory creates products like tablets and televisions that are then exported throughout the Middle East, as well as across 36 countries in Africa.
The first batch of Galaxy A smartphones will be available in Samsung’s branches and authorized vendors across the country.
