Saudi Aramco Reports USD 106 Billion Profit in 2024

Saudi Aramco reported an annual profit of USD 106.2 billion in 2024, reflecting the company’s continued financial strength despite a 12% decline from the previous year’s USD 121.3 billion. The company also recorded a 4.2% year-over-year increase in its base dividend for the fourth quarter of 2024.

Cash flow from operating activities reached USD 135.7 billion, with free cash flow totaling USD 85.3 billion. For Q4 2024, Aramco declared a base dividend of USD 21.1 billion, to be paid in the first quarter of 2025, alongside a performance-linked dividend of USD 0.2 billion. Total dividends expected in 2025 amount to USD 85.4 billion.

Capital investment for 2024 stood at USD 53.3 billion, with USD 50.4 billion allocated to organic expenditures. For 2025, investment is projected to range between USD 52.0 billion and USD 58.0 billion, excluding USD 4.0 billion in project financing.

As part of its long-term strategy, Aramco is advancing its Upstream and Downstream businesses to drive revenue growth. The Upstream gas business is expected to generate an additional USD 9 billion to USD 10 billion in cash flow by 2030, while Downstream operations are projected to contribute an additional USD 8 billion to USD 10 billion in operating cash flow over the same period.
