Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub has been selected as one of this year’s Zayed Award for Human Fraternity honorees. This recognition serves as a testament to his steadfast commitment to delivering life-saving medical care to the most marginalised individuals in society, as highlighted in a press release by the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity.

In addition, the award acknowledges Professor Yacoub's noteworthy contributions, including the establishment of the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation in Egypt.
