Special Visa for Riyadh’s World Expo 2030 Launched in Saudi Arabia
The visa aims to facilitate a seamless entry for global visitors, from the moment the plane lands straight into the Expo site.
If you are a non-Saudi citizen dying to attend Riyadh’s World Expo 2030 but the daunting process of obtaining your visa has been haunting your dreams, fret no more. Saudi Arabia has recently introduced a special visa to save you the hassle and facilitate a seamless entry from the moment your plane lands, through the metro and all the way to the Expo site.
In preparation for the 2030 World Expo, the Kingdom is spending nearly USD 8 billion to turn part of its capital city into an events plaza across 6.6 square kilometres. Set to run over six months, the Riyadh World Expo will bring together 197 countries from across the globe to showcase their latest achievements and future ambitions.
World Expos usually take place every five consecutive years in different cities. The Riyadh World Expo marks the second in the Middle East, following the Dubai Expo held in 2021.
