The Royal Gala Brings Europe’s Classical Riding Schools to Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is set to welcome a landmark cultural and equestrian event with The Royal Gala, taking place on November 1st and the 2nd, 2025, at the newly opened Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts (ADREA) on Jubail Island.

The gala marks the first time that Europe’s four historic classical riding schools — the Spanish Riding School of Vienna (Austria), Le Cadre Noir de Saumur (France), Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art (Spain), and the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art (Portugal) — will perform together outside Europe. Joining them on stage will be ADREA’s own ensemble, symbolising a meeting between centuries-old European traditions and the UAE’s growing equestrian culture.

Spanning 65,000 square metres, ADREA is the region’s first centre dedicated to the art of classical horsemanship, featuring stables, performance arenas, and an equestrian library. The Royal Gala will include choreographed performances, cultural showcases, interactive discussions, and curated dining experiences, offering a refined evening that blends heritage and art.

Tickets for The Royal Gala are now available, starting from AED 200 and reaching AED 800 for premium seating, through ADREA’s official website.
