Emirati astronauts Nora AlMatrooshi and Mohammad AlMulla visited 25 children undergoing cancer treatment at Mediclinic Hospital in Dubai. The tour, organized by Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), aimed to provide emotional support and uplift the spirits of the young patients.
The astronauts shared their experiences and answered questions about space exploration, inspiring the children with tales of rocket launches, life on the International Space Station, and the challenges of astronaut training. In turn, the children expressed their own dreams and aspirations, sharing their hopes of floating in space, living on the moon and collecting stars.
To further uplift the children's spirits, FOCP and the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) distributed gifts and games.
