A new major health resort worth USD 1.5 billion in investments is about to be built in Giza’s El-Saf Center.
The health resort will be constructed over 42 acres of land, and is expected to create 4,500 new jobs.
Cosigned by the Egyptian General Authority for Investment and Free Zones and Maxim Investment Group, which will manage and operate the resort, the initiative is part of a national push to support health tourism across Egypt. In November 2021, the General Authority of Healthcare launched a wide-reaching medical tourism programme in Luxor, after major upgrades were made to Karnak International Hospital in April 2021.
